| Historical dyes and wool dyeing by Ana Manhita In this workshop, participants will be invited to learn a little about the history of some regional textile products (Arraiolos Rugs), the dyeing process, and have the opportunity to dye wool using natural dyes. | 8 |
| Pigments and illuminations by Silvia Bottura-Scardina In this workshop, the participants will be invited to enter the world of Mediaeval and Renaissance colour pigments. After a brief introduction to the most used inorganic colour materials identified in the Antiphonary Manizola 116c (held by the Public Library of Évora), a historically accurate reproduction of a detail of this illuminated manuscript dating from the 16th century will be performed. | 8 |
